Performance cruiser

School project in The Landing School, Program manager: S.M. Dalzell B.Sc. C.Eng. MRINA

32 feet on the waterline, that is the 2010 Crocodile performance cruiser design. Full standing headroom in the saloon was one of the requirements. It was easy to obtain thanks to chosen cabin design. Cockpit is nearly 8 feet long and allows crew of six to cruise in comfort. The boat can be easily sailed by two thanks to the hardware layout and high sheet purchase ratio. Harken deck hardware is a standard equipment for its performance and lifespan. The boat displaces 14 900 lbs ( 6.8 t ) and her sail area is 706 ft2 ( 65.6 m2 ).

In the interior, two spacious cabins with double berths, saloon to accomodate crew of six and head with shower can be found. Two seaberths and full size chart table allow for longer sea passages, same as supplies capacity.

Among others, the boat is provided with Type III sanitary system, electronic navigation system with autopilot, folding transom swim platform, cockpit table, etc.
